About me
First, thanks so much for being here. I’m really looking forward to supporting you toward your health goals.
Nutrition and wellness have always been where I feel most at home and most energized. I’m also deeply drawn to building and being part of community, spaces where people can let their guard down, ask honest questions, and focus on what actually matters.
After becoming a Registered Dietitian, I began counseling clients and quickly realized that understanding nutrition science wasn’t enough; I wanted to be more skilled in the counseling itself. That insight led me to earn a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling while working in a multidisciplinary physician’s office.
From there, I joined New York Health & Racquet Club as one of their in-house Nutritionist, where I also led corporate wellness programs and became a Certified Diabetes Educator.
I later moved into outpatient clinical care at Weill Cornell NewYork-Presbyterian, working with individuals managing a wide range of chronic and complex conditions, including heart disease, diabetes and gestational diabetes, PCOS, thyroid disorders, IBD, and binge eating disorder. This work deeply shaped my belief in practical, compassionate, evidence-based care that meets people where they are.
After having children, my focus expanded to food systems and access. I spent several years working in food safety and marketing at a vertical farming company, gaining a broader perspective on how food is grown, distributed, and communicated to consumers.
Now, I’m excited to bring all of these experiences together through Figgy Nutrition, a space where evidence-based nutrition, practical tools, and real-life context come together to support women through life’s transitions.
